The best things to do in Miami are a mix of local eateries, night clubs, hot spots and fun tourist attractions. Check out our quick list on what we think are some of the best things to do in Miami.
1. Sample a beer at the Wynwood Brewing Company
Miami’s first craft brewery prompted many other brewhouses to open nearby in Wynwood. Visiting this brewhouse is a must. Wynwood Brewing’s flavor-packed blonde ale, La Rubia is crisp and very refreshing. You can get it at most stores, but there’s nothing like sampling it right from where its made at.
2. Stay at Copper Door B&B
With nothing more than the light from their cellphone flashlights, Jamila Ross and Akino West opened The Copper Door Bed & Breakfast. Ross and West — a couple with a rich culinary and hospitality background — were touring the boarded-up Demetree Hotel in Overtown. In Copper Door’s 22 rooms and suites, the partners have combined original and new elements that you have to see to believe. One guest room features complex floral-print wallpaper, while its neighbor’s walls sport crisp and clean geometric lines. Staying at the Copper Door has to be on your todo list if you're in Miami.
