Noirbnb is a global travel community that provides experiences and events with a focus on including and celebrating travelers of color. Our accommodations take our guests all around the world to popular destinations and events inspired by the African diaspora. Noirbnb was born in October 2015 after our co-founder, Stefan’s experience while booking a stay in Atlanta. We realized Stef’s experience was not an isolated case and more importantly, that there was an opportunity to create a better, safer experience for travelers of color.
Noirbnb is seeking an IT Operations Engineer.This position is responsible for maintaining Noirbnb resources, systems and endpoints that comprise our webapp platform and our mobile application platform. You will:
Manage environments requests and environment allocation to project teams
Manage health of the environment and proactively coordinate as well as resolve the environment downtime related issues
Provide dedicated support for business-critical environments (upgrades, data refresh, customer issue resolutions)
Troubleshooting environment and application issues
Ensuring Non-Prod environments stability and availability
Supporting New production environment build out and deployment
Maintain and Manage software version modification of project ecosystem
Develop and maintain a CI/CD pipeline
Take full end to end ownership of certain elements/business processes/capabilities within the Atlassian suite
Perform end-user activities in the Atlassian tools, such as: create maintain workflows in JIRA, author content in Confluence, create build plans in Bamboo, etc.
Experience with using GitHub
Experience with using Jenkins
Experience with integrating with authentication/directory services like Active Directory (LDAP), Crowd, Oauth and SAML.
Supporting and working with relational databases, with a strong focus on MySQL
3+ years of IT experience with at least 2 years experience specific to collaborative technology
Experience integrating Skype for Business with other unified communications systems (chat, media, video, voice)
Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills as well as collaboration skills.
Able to convey technical concepts to individuals without prior technical knowledge or understanding of topics.
Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with SSL Certificates
Experience with Asana, Slack, and Zoom
