New logo. New branding. New features. New listings. As our friends in Jamaica say, “Big tings a gwaan”.
We’re excited to announce and release the all-new Noirbnb. It’s been about 2 years in the making and it feels great to finally have you experience it. We worked tirelessly around the clock to bring it to life.
Branding
As CEO, I had to put on many new hats and step it up in regard to a few of my skills. I took it upon myself to personally, completely redesign the entire look and feel of Noirbnb’s brand and website.
The first thing I did was redesign the Noirbnb logo. To be honest, I’ve always hated the original logo. The most important thing to me was designing something new that represented the refined look & feel of what Noirbnb represents. As a company, our mission is to connect people, seamlessly. Our new logo represents the synergy & connection we seek to inspire. Connecting guests with hosts, travelers with new experiences, and people around the world with memories they’ll cherish for the rest of their lives.
We also had to improve our branding, as well as the UI & UX of our website. For those not familiar with the terms UI & UX, those terms refer to our User Interface (UI) and your User Experience (UX). We wanted the new Noirbnb to feel clean, modern, fresh, and luxurious. We wanted our user experience to be easy, simple, and effortless. Of course we’ll always be looking to improve and optimize but, we’re really happy with the new look and feel so far.
Features
The most important thing for us was improving our platform’s functionality. That means search functionality, the ability for hosts to add listings, and new payout methods.
Our next developmental focus is building out our API to help hosts onboard their properties from Airbnb, Vrbo, and other vacation rental platforms. That will not only make our listing process smoother and more efficient, it will also help us rapidly increase our inventory of properties and make it easier for guests and travelers to book.
These are just a few examples of the things we’ve been building and what’s to come, but we’re always listening to user feedback and making improvements. We won’t be able to build or fix everything right away, but we are listening.
Thank you for riding with us on this journey.
